Welcome to this support and information site for women with advanced breast cancer and their families.
Even though there is so much stuff about breast cancer on the web, when you get the diagnosis of advanced (metastatic/stage IV) breast cancer, useful information is harder to find.
The aim of this site is to create a portal to information specifically about advanced breast cancer, including access to the latest metastatic breast cancer news, so that you don't have to trawl through countless sites to find what you are looking for.
It is also a place for husbands, partners and other family members to visit, because for them, it is even harder to find information that might help them during this life changing time. See the 'Resources for...' categories in the Links chapter.
There is a list of discussion forums in the Links chapter where you can chat with others going through the same thing and there are also forums just for men.
As well, there will be space for you. You are welcome to contribute your story or a relevant book or DVD review for the Stories & Reviews chapter.
And lastly, sharing tips that have helped us cope with the illness or helped our partner and other family members will hopefully make life a bit easier for us all.
The site is in its early days. Your comments are welcomed.
